Praying Over…

Untitled design (3)

You may not can change a person or a place, but you can definitely trust God to change the atmosphere in which you dwell.

I had to come into grips with this as I entered another day at my place of work. God has told me in the past, “Amber you are doing it the wrong way.” And as I struggled to learn and adopt the “right way” or the “righteous way”, I was determined that this day I was going to try something different.

I entered my place of work, a little earlier than normal, and I entered with God right next to me saying, “go”. He made the path – ordered my steps and words to pray over the atmosphere, people and ideals – that they may align with Christ like values and His purpose for the season. The empty office was now illuminated with the right temperature setting – now conducive for Him to work.

“You see,” the Holy Spirit said, “sometimes I just need to be invited.”

Change didn’t take overnight, and quite frankly, it seem like everything went backwards. But there was something I couldn’t deny – there was a change and a shift spiritually. I could feel it. And more so, I could see some changes happening in the spirit.

Mark 11:24 AMP

For this reason I am telling you, whatever things you ask for in prayer [in accordance with God’s will], believe [with confident trust] that you have received them, and they will be given to you.

There are two types of people who pray: one that wishes and one that KNOWs. Mark 11:24 demands that we must know that what we ask for, we have been given already in the spirit. See it happening! Taste it coming! Prepare for it happening! Why wouldn’t we have that much confidence in a God (whom we are praying to) who has proven Himself faithful in so many situations!

So invite Him in – your workplace or home – and believe that it will be done in Jesus name.
